Mova Pro at a glance

Mova Pro is a capsule food supplement with three listed plant ingredients and an identifiable Dutch seller. We are not aware of any authorised health claim for these ingredients in relation to joints, and evidence for such uses is limited, so we make no such claim. The seller shows one bottle from £54.95 (offer page, checked 7 November 2026; prices and terms can change). Read the label, check the checkout total, and ask a GP or pharmacist first if you take medicines or have a health condition.

What is Mova Pro?

Mova Pro is a dietary supplement in capsule form. Each bottle holds 30 capsules. It is sold online by a company called Hegumate B.V., trading as Mova Pro, and this site is an independent review that earns a commission when readers buy through our links.

Here is the short version of what we have gathered from the seller's own pages and terms.

We have not been able to see the amount of each ingredient in a capsule, or the dosage directions. We will not guess at them. Whatever you decide, follow the directions printed on the bottle you receive, and do not take more than they say.

What the label says and what we can say

Mova Pro bottle beside a knee joint model

The bottle is labelled, in the seller's own words, as a “Dietary supplement for Joint & Mobility Support” and a “Premium formula for better Cartilage, Bone and Joint Health”. We quote this only so you know what the packaging says. We do not endorse that wording and we do not repeat it as a claim of our own.

In the UK, health claims about foods and supplements have to be backed by an authorised claim and the amount of the ingredient has to be meaningful. We are not aware of any authorised health claim for turmeric (Curcuma longa), green tea extract or piperine in relation to joints, cartilage, bones or mobility. Studies on these ingredients exist, but they are mixed and often use different products and doses, so the evidence is limited and it does not allow us to say what Mova Pro will or will not do for any person.

So this page deliberately does not tell you that Mova Pro will help with anything. If you have joint discomfort, it is worth speaking to a GP, pharmacist or physiotherapist, because ongoing discomfort can have many causes and a supplement is not a substitute for proper advice or for a medicine your doctor has prescribed.

Ingredient: turmeric (Curcuma longa) extract

Mova Pro ingredient: turmeric root and powder

Turmeric is the orange-yellow spice made from the root of Curcuma longa, widely used in cooking. The seller lists a 4:1 extract. That ratio normally means that roughly four parts of the raw plant were used to make one part of extract, although it tells you nothing on its own about how much of any particular compound a capsule contains.

The compounds most often discussed in turmeric are called curcuminoids. Researchers study them, but we are not aware of an authorised UK health claim for turmeric extract, and we make none. Read the label for the actual amount per capsule.

Ingredient: green tea extract

Mova Pro ingredient: green tea leaves and extract

Green tea extract is made from the leaves of Camellia sinensis, the same plant used for ordinary green tea, but the extract is far more concentrated than a cup. It can contain caffeine and a group of plant compounds called catechins.

Concentrated green tea extracts are one reason to read the label carefully. Regulators in Europe have reported rare cases of liver problems linked to high intakes of catechins from green tea extracts, mostly where large amounts were taken. We do not know the green tea amount in Mova Pro, so we cannot comment on where it sits. If you have liver or gallbladder problems, or you notice dark urine, yellowing of the skin or eyes or unusual tiredness, stop taking it and seek advice.

Ingredient: black pepper extract (95% piperine)

Mova Pro ingredient: black peppercorns

Piperine is the main pungent compound in black pepper. The seller lists an extract standardised to 95% piperine. Piperine is known to affect how the body handles some substances, which is why supplement makers sometimes add it to other ingredients.

The same property is the reason for a safety note: piperine can change how some medicines are absorbed or processed. If you take any prescription medicine, especially for blood thinning, diabetes, epilepsy or other conditions where the dose matters, ask your pharmacist or GP before taking a supplement that contains it.

Who might it suit, and who should skip it

It might suit healthy adults who have read the label, are comfortable with the three plant ingredients listed, understand that a supplement is not a medicine, and are happy with the seller's price and returns terms.

You should skip it, or speak to a professional first, if you:

  • are under 18;
  • are pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding;
  • take medicines such as blood thinners or diabetes medication, or any medicine where timing and dose matter;
  • have a liver or gallbladder condition, or a history of liver problems;
  • are sensitive to caffeine, spices or any listed ingredient;
  • are due to have an operation or medical procedure.

Good to know: a food supplement is not a replacement for a varied, balanced diet or for medical care. If you are unwell after taking it, stop and seek advice.

Safety in brief

These are general cautions rather than a list of known effects of Mova Pro, because we have not seen full safety data for the product itself.

  • Do not exceed the dose on the label.
  • Do not use it as a replacement for medicine prescribed by your doctor.
  • Piperine can affect how some medicines are absorbed.
  • Green tea extract has been linked to rare liver problems, mostly at high intakes.
  • If you feel unwell, stop and seek advice from a GP or pharmacist.

Our side effects and safety guide goes through these points in more detail.
