Mova Pro Ingredients Explained

The seller names three ingredients. This guide says what each one is, what is generally known, and where the evidence runs out.
- Curcuma longa (4:1 extract), the turmeric plant
- Green tea extract, from the tea plant leaf
- Black pepper extract (95% piperine), a concentrated pepper compound

Ingredients: short answer
Three familiar plant ingredients, with the amounts left to the label. We could not capture the amount per capsule, so we cannot say how Mova Pro compares with studies. We are not aware of any authorised health claim for these ingredients in relation to joints, and evidence is limited, so we make no claim. Read the label and ask a GP or pharmacist if you are unsure.
The ingredient list at a glance
According to the seller, each Mova Pro capsule combines a turmeric extract, a green tea extract and a black pepper extract. That is a short list compared with many multi-ingredient supplements, which makes it easier to read, but the useful detail is the amount of each one per capsule. We were not able to capture those figures, and the dosage directions, so please rely on the printed label and do not assume anything from this page.
| Ingredient | How the seller lists it | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Turmeric | Curcuma longa, 4:1 extract | Extract of a root used as a spice |
| Green tea | Green tea extract | Extract of tea leaves, may contain caffeine and catechins |
| Black pepper | Extract, 95% piperine | Concentrated pungent compound from pepper |
The bottle describes the formula in its own marketing terms. We do not endorse that wording, and we cover what can and cannot be said on the main review.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa) extract
Turmeric comes from the underground stem of Curcuma longa, a plant in the ginger family, and is best known as the golden spice in curries. The seller lists a 4:1 extract. Extract ratios describe how much raw plant material was used, not how much of a particular compound results, and two products with the same ratio can differ a lot.
Curcuminoids are the compounds usually discussed in connection with turmeric, and they are the subject of continuing research. Studies differ in design, dose and the form used, and results are not consistent enough for us to draw conclusions about any outcome. We are not aware of an authorised health claim for turmeric extract for joints, so we do not make one. Turmeric supplements are also not the same thing as using the spice in cooking, because capsules can supply much more than a meal would.

Green tea extract

Green tea extract is made from leaves of Camellia sinensis. Unlike a cup of tea, an extract concentrates the plant compounds, mainly catechins, and may carry some caffeine depending on how it is made. The seller does not state, in the material we saw, how much of either is in a capsule.
The reason this ingredient deserves a careful read is safety rather than benefit. European food-safety bodies have reported rare cases of liver problems associated with high intakes of green tea catechins from supplements, particularly where products were taken in large amounts or on an empty stomach. This does not mean Mova Pro causes such problems. It means you should follow the label, avoid combining it with other green tea or caffeine supplements, and stop and seek advice if you become unwell.

Black pepper extract (95% piperine)

Black pepper owes its heat mainly to piperine. An extract standardised to 95% piperine is far stronger than the pepper in your kitchen. Piperine is widely studied for the way it can influence how other substances are absorbed and processed in the body, and it is included in some supplements for that reason.
That same property is relevant to medicines. Piperine may alter how some medicines are absorbed or broken down, which could in theory make a medicine stronger or weaker. If you take prescription medicines, particularly where the dose is carefully balanced, speak to your pharmacist before taking any piperine-containing supplement. More general cautions are in our safety guide.

The limits of the evidence
It is common for supplement pages to point to studies on an ingredient and then imply that a particular product will do the same. That step is not safe. Research on an ingredient depends on the exact form, the dose, the group of people studied and how long it ran. Without the per-capsule amounts we cannot line Mova Pro up with any study, and even with them, a result in one group does not carry over to every reader.
- We are not aware of any authorised UK or EU health claim for these three ingredients in relation to joints, cartilage, bones or mobility.
- Evidence for such uses is limited and mixed.
- Mova Pro is a food supplement, not a medicine, and it should not replace advice or treatment from a health professional.
If you have ongoing joint discomfort, a GP, pharmacist or physiotherapist is the right first step. Return to the full Mova Pro review for the label, price and seller details, or read whether Mova Pro is legit.

Frequently asked questions
What is in Mova Pro?
The seller names Curcuma longa (4:1 extract), green tea extract and black pepper extract (95% piperine). Check the bottle for the full list and amounts.
What does a 4:1 extract mean?
Typically that about four parts of raw plant went into one part of extract. It does not tell you how much of any single compound a capsule holds.
Why is pepper extract in the formula?
The seller does not say in our notes. Piperine is known to affect how the body handles some substances, which is also why medicine interactions are possible.
Do these ingredients have authorised health claims?
We are not aware of any authorised health claim for them in relation to joints, cartilage or bones, so we make none.
